TYLER PERRY STUDIOS HISTORY:

Acquired by Tyler Perry in 2015, the 330-acre lot is located in the heart of Atlanta on the historic grounds of the former Fort McPherson army base. The major motion picture studio, one of the largest production facilities in the country, showcases forty buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, twelve purpose-built sound stages, 200 acres of greenspace and a diverse backlot. Tyler Perry Studios Fort McPherson is the fourth expansion in the lineage of the writer, actor, producer, director, and philanthropist’s creative empire.

Where one hundred years of Hollywood design meets 21st-century technology, our twelve state-of-the-art sound stages are built to meet the needs of production.

A chapter of our collective past, the Historic District offers productions a unique space to envision endless possibilities.

Our diverse backlot with over 220 acres of groomed greenspace provides the foundation to create multiple sets.

STAGES & STUDIO RENTAL INQUIRIES:

Twelve purpose-built sound stages, each with wooden perms, catwalks and silent HVAC systems. Ranging in size from 10,000-38,500 square feet and equipped with 4000A 3ph 120/208v, the stages are designed to meet the demands of today and tomorrow’s content creators.
